The superior program “Friday Confide” from Indonesian National Police to the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Area Police, which has been implemented for the umpteenth time, in absorbing people’s aspirations. This time, the “Friday Confide” of the Airport Police was carried out together with employees of PT Angkasapura Support’s Cleaning Service, in the Ex Lobby. Wistisabha PT. Angkasa Pura. Deputy Police Chief I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Region Kompol. I Ketut Darta, representing the Head of Police Ngurah Rai airport AKBP. Ida Ayu Wikarniti, said that this Friday Confide activity was the flagship program of the National Police to absorb aspirations and input from the public.
“To the community, with this program, we hope that it can be put to good use, whatever the problem, please convey it,” said Deputy Head of Police who was accompanied by Main Police Officials.
One of the employees said, related to his duties as a cleaning service, he complained that there were still cigarette butts and used drink and food waste that were thrown away carelessly, even though there was already a place to dispose of garbage and a special place for smoking.
Very appreciative of the Airport Police who are always present in the midst of the community so that the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport area is always in a conducive and safe condition. Furthermore, the Confident Friday program should continue to be carried out on an ongoing basis as a forum for conveying aspirations to the Airport Police.
There were also other employees highlighting the traffic jams that sometimes occur at the Harris and Radar intersections during certain hours, asking the police to always place their personnel in these two places.
Following up on problems and input submitted by employees, Deputy head of Police Kompol. Ketut Darta gave his response that, he would forward it to Angkasapura to tighten supervision of the public/airport service users who dispose of cigarette butts or litter.
Furthermore, for the placement of personnel at critical hours, the airport Police will follow up by placing personnel in locations where traffic jams often occur. Apart from that, so far have also carried out patrols to clean up along the airport route from illegal parking which is also one of the causes of traffic jams.
