Head of Regional Office (Kakanwil) Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) Bali, Anggiat Napitupulu takes Indonesian Citizenship Oath and Inaugurated Notary Position Badung Regency in Denpasar Room, Prime Plaza Hotel, Sanur. Monday (27/2/2023).
The foreign citizen (WNA) who changed citizenship and was sworn in was Troy Sinclair who was previously an Australian citizen, where the foreigner on behalf of Troy Sinclair was approved by the President of the Republic of Indonesia through a Decree to obtain Indonesian Citizen status (WNI).
Anggiat Napitupulu gave a message to Troy Sinclair to carry out his rights and obligations as an Indonesian citizen properly, to fully devote himself to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and to become an Indonesian citizen through real work for the progress and prosperity of the Indonesian nation and state.
“In accordance with Law Number 12 of 2006 concerning Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia, that Presidential Decree regarding granting the application for citizenship is effective as of the date of taking the oath to renounce all allegiance to foreign powers, acknowledge, submit and be loyal to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, Pancasila and The 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, for that I congratulate Troy because now he has officially become an Indonesian citizen,” said Anggiat.
Anggiat also said to be an Indonesian citizen who obeys and obeys the rules that apply in Indonesia, including maintaining the dignity of the Indonesian nation, maintaining nationalism and maintaining the unity and integrity of the Indonesian Motherland.
At the same time, the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Bali also inaugurated and sworn in on 2 (two) Notary Positions for the Badung Regency area. Anggiat advised that as a notary must always uphold high moral values that apply in society by being honest, to always be careful and responsible at work so that what is done is worth worship and according to the mandate of the law.
“Therefore, make this oath-taking event a momentum to increase commitment in serving the nation, state and society, carry out tasks as well as possible and always improve professionalism and quality of work so as to provide guarantees, protection and legal certainty for the wider community in general,” said Angie.
At the end of his remarks, Anggiat congratulated and succeeded the participants who had been sworn in as both Indonesian citizens and notaries. Hopefully, through the ceremony, the participants will always be able to uphold moral values and be committed to serving the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. (Uchan)
